I went to Hindu temple which is located in Mt Albert with my friend. He showed me around the temple. Here it is:
This is the way that they are doing worship:
This is called Ladoo as known the most popular dessert in India. The taste is very sweet that made out of flour, butter, egg, cream and condense milk. you only allow to eat two or three per day otherwise it will be irritate your stomach and it is obvious you will gain weight. I like it but it was too sweet for me.
Reflective writing
I have chosen this religion , because my workmate Abhi whose religion is Hinduism and he always explain his rich cultural to me, so it will be easier to choose this religion for my topic. My peer is such a religious person as he strongly believe and tough god follower. He goes to temple regularly and never breaks religion's rules . This is the only reason that make me very hard to eat lunch with him, because he is from India and he does not eat beef, pork, egg and some days of the months he does not eat meat at all or something contain salt at all beside vegetable and plain yoghurt. This is called fasting. On that day they are not going to eat anything for full day, because they doing for some requirement particular lord. The reason for fasting on a day is usually traced back to a particular incident in one of the Hindu or folk tradition. There are numerous myths associated with a particular fast. The stories vary from region to region and from community to community.
I have recorded the conservation between Abhi and I as an evidence. During the interview , we kept laughing a lot. Therefore, i had constantly recorded until we
satisfied with the video. For this research, it leaded me to go to the temple, walked around took some nice pictures and talked to other people that came from India. i found out a bit strange and nervous when i first step in to the temple, forty or fifty pairs of eyes was astonishing stared at me , because i was the only Asian girl attended to the worship as it is hardly any other nationalities join this temple before. It was so ridiculous for the eating part. Honestly, i am fully a meat eater as I eat less amount of vegetable. So i had to eat vegetarian food at the temple. My friend gave me a piece of Samosa and some sweet as it was so delicious, but i couldn't eat much as their dessert too sweet which is called Ladoo(round yellow ball that made out of flour, egg and condense milk .

or " Am i a Hindu" Hinduism primer
By Ed Viswanathan
This is another book in the question-and-answer format between father and son. Its title - Am I A Hindu? - was the vital question its author was chasing before finally deciding to write this primer in 1988, and publish it with his own money. It is now a famous book on Hinduism basics that answers all your fundamental questions, including such questions as "Why do Hindu women wear a red dot on their forehead?" and so on...
